About CABA
The Charlotte Alliance of Black Accountants (CABA) mission is dedicated to empowering and uplifting black and other minority students and professional members in accounting, finance and related business professions. We believe that by providing a supportive and inclusive community, resources, and opportunities for growth, we can help black and other minority professionals thrive in their careers and make a positive impact in within the minority community.
- To provide opportunities for members to volunteer for civic duties.
- To promote both self and professional developments of soft skill and technical skills
- To mentor minority students with interest within accounting, finance and or related business professions.
- To be of support for small minority businesses through financial wealth building resources.
- To encourage supportive relationships amongst members through a local network.
Letter from The President
As we step into 2026, I am proud to reflect on the progress the Charlotte Alliance of Black Accountants made in 2025 and grateful for the community that made it possible.
This past year was marked by meaningful impact and steady growth. Together, we hosted our first CABA Career Connection Day, awarded a total of $16,000 in scholarships, and gained a corporate partner. Each of these achievements strengthened our organization and advanced our mission to empower, inspire, and support the needs of our members.
As we move into 2026, our priorities include deepening our partnerships with corporate supporters and fostering meaningful connections among our members through increased opportunities to engage, collaborate, and grow together.
As we look ahead to the year, our Executive Leadership team is proud to introduce our new organizational slogan—Create. Advance. Build. Aspire. In 2026, this message will be implemented across the organization, serving as a unifying framework that reflects our mission, values, and aspirations for the future.
None of this would be possible without the dedication of our Executive Leadership Team, committee members, corporate partners, members and supporters. Your commitment fuels our mission and inspires everything we do.
